What is Autodiscover & Autoconfig

These web services are used by a growing number of applications and which aid in configuring your mobile devices and desktop clients.

Protocol Details
Autodiscover: Configuration protocol used by Outlook and mobile devices such as iOS & Android.
Autoconfig: Configuration protocol used by Thunderbird.

These services configure an e-mail account with only your e-mail address and password. It is not required to enter incoming servers, outgoing servers, ports, or security information.

Here you can enter your current URL so that all of the records below can be copied and pasted.

Do not include "HTTP://", "HTTPS://", "www." or any other subdomains unless you are sure that DNS records require this prefix.


Standard and Enhanced Email Autodiscover & Autoconfig

To activate autodiscover and/or autoconfig for Standard or Enhanced email services adjustments will need to be made to your DNS record sets. The configuration is straightforward. You must add two A type records in the DNS of the domain for which you wish to enable these services. These records are:

G Suite Autodiscover & Autoconfig
